Cross country will be offered for the Summerland Bobcats, and the squad will compete in class D this season. Jamie Turpin, an instructor in Clearwater, will lead the team.     The Antelope County Fair is just around the corner. The fair starts Tuesday, July 30 and will end on Sunday, Aug. 4. The fair will be hosted at the fairgrounds on the southeast side of Neligh. On Tuesday, the fair will start at 9 a.m., with the 4-H/FFA dog show. It will be followed by the cat show at 10:30 am. At 1 p.m., there will be a small pet show.     As the school year approaches, so does volleyball season. This year Clearwater, Orchard, and Ewing will form the Summerland Bobcats. The co-op causes the team to move from a Class D2 to a C2 team. This means the competition level may get a lot harder. However, Bobcats Head Coach Suz Funk is already planning for the season.
